'The "reloadable" Dollar is similar to an ATM card except you can add more value to each specific bank note. It would be made of a type of flexible e-paper and include a fingerprint reader and a magnetic strip. An "empty" note would be a dull grey color, which would shift when value is added (ie it would change to green if $100 is added). It seems far fetched, however, the technology is available (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_paper)."
